Just who is Miriam Thayer (Meg) Oliver?

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Miriam Thayer Oliver is better known as Meg, a self-donned nickname gleaned from a vanity plate in an Atlanta, Georgia traffic jam. Meg was born in 1956 in North Carolina, but was raised in Georgia. She graduated from The University of Florida in 1979 and later from Kentucky Horseshoeing School in 1992. Since that time she has been shoeing horses, merchandising, inventing things, and writing. She accidentally lived in Ohio for a decade or more. And she lived in the hight desert of southern California for a few years....that was on purpose. She currently resides with her family in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Her family consists of her partner, many dogs, and two cats. No horses right now....but that could always change.
